What is 24HSF?
24 Hours Sufferfest is an endurance rock climbing competition for the 18th till the 20th of May, in the outstanding climbing area of Castelbianco in Valpennavaire. Teams of two climbers will challenge themselves in a 24 hour climbing marathon for intermediate and advanced level and 12 hour for recreational level, whilst visitors will enjoy 3 days with food, music, game and most of all a big festival with a community of fellow climbers.

Are there prizes?
Yes! Each participant will receive a unique 24HSF T-Shirt, there are several categories see: Categories. Each category winner will be rewarded with a trophy and climbing gear. 

Where is the event taking place?
In the magnificent area of Castelbianco on the Italian Riviera. Well know to climbers as “oltrefinale” of “albenga”, this area has become one of the most popular area in the world for climbers looking for great rock, technical climbing, food and great weather for and all year round climbing destination.

When is the event?
It starts the 18th of May with the registration and it ends on Sunday the 20th of May with the climbing party. The 24H competition starts on Saturday at 11am and finishes on Sunday at 11am after 24h of climbing and the 12H comp starts at 10am on Saturday and ends the same day at 10pm.

How much does it cost?
Early bird tickets are 15 euro per person, regular 20 euro. So hurry up! Go to Tickets Each participant will also get a unique T-shirt of the event.

How do I move between crags?
For this edition we selected crags all at walking distance from Colletta,  just minutes away. Using your car is allowed but not recommended.

What if I don’t have a climbing partner?
Please register and send us an email, we’ll find a partner for you.

Where can I stay?
There are several accommodation possibilities in the valley please see hospitality page

What is the minimum age?
The minimum required age is 16 with parental authorisation

Is there parking available?
You will be able to park in Colletta di Castelbianco fo free

What if I don’t climb?
You can enjoy one of the most spectacular valley in the Italian Riviera, cheer for your friends, enjoy a good time with great food, climb in the many other crags available or relax at the Colletta climbing festival.

Can I take my family or friends?
Of course, Colletta is very family friendly and Valpennavaire and Castelbianco offer many opportunities to enjoy your time with sport, food and relax. You can also visit the very nice resort of Alassio with it’s shopping area (only 25 min. by car), visit the old Roman part of Albenga (only 20 min. by car).
